BHUBANESWAR:In protest against the resignation of the Union Education Minister, the abolition of NTA, and the inhuman and brutal attack by the police on protesting students in Delhi, the AIDSO All India Committee has called for a nationwide protest on July 21 and 22. AIDSO has organized a protest today at Lower PMG, Bhubaneswar along with the burning of an effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
It is worth mentioning here that the AIDSO has strongly condemned the inhumane action of the police on students fighting for their rights in Delhi. The protest meeting organized by the All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO) has demanded the complete abolition of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The organization has also strongly demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign immediately, taking moral responsibility for the widespread irregularities in the conduct of the examination and police atrocities on students.
The AIDSO leadership has said that the central government is trying to suppress the voice of the student community, which is presenting its just demands through democratic means, by using police force. AIDSO has warned that if the corrupt NTA system, which is playing with the future of students, is not immediately abolished, action is taken against the Union Education Minister, who is the culprit of the students of the country, and the guilty police officers who attacked the students, they will resign and the agitation will be intensified in the coming days across the state and the country.
