BHUBANESWAR: Police have started a probe into an FIR filed at Sahid Nagar Police Station against actress and estranged wife of Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty, Varsha Priyadarshini for dumping a woman of Rs 30,000 promising for her a job at a Jewellery shop.
The complainant, identified as Kalyani Nayak of Saheed Nagar area. She alleged that Varsha and her aide Ayushi Priyadarshini cheated her. Based on the complaint, Saheed Nagar police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. The actress is yet to make any comments on the matter.
Ayushi promised me with a job in a prominent jewellery shop in the Janpath area here with the help of Varsha and asked me to give Rs 50,000 to the actress for it, she alleged adding she paid around Rs 30,000 to the accused. However, the actress stopped responding to her calls after the incident, the woman alleged.
