NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become the longest serving elected head of government in India. Today, he has completed 12 consecutive years or 4,399 days as the Prime Minister, while the government under his leadership is entering its 130th year. On this glorious and historic occasion, Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan paid homage to the Chaturdhamurti at the Shri Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas, Delhi and prayed for the good health and long life of the Prime Minister.
Responding to the media on this occasion, Shri Pradhan said that the Prime Minister has dedicated himself to serving the country. His only goal is to work day and night to benefit the poor, women, youth and farmers of the country and to achieve overall development of the country. Today’s day has set a new record of service and dedication. Shri Pradhan also said that Prime Minister Shri Modi Ji is a true devotee and follower of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath. His social life is built on the blessings of Mahaprabhu. Many years ago, he started his social life journey from the Shri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad. Before and after becoming the Prime Minister, whenever he gets the opportunity to visit Odisha, he never forgets to seek the blessings of Mahaprabhu.
Praying at the feet of Mahaprabhu, Shri Pradhan said that the grace of Mahaprabhu is upon the entire countrymen and may it continue upon the Prime Minister as well. Under the supportive leadership of the Prime Minister, our country will successfully carry forward the great responsibility of public service and nation building. Shri Pradhan expressed the hope that under his leadership, India will be further developed, prosperous and progressive by 2047.
