NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: President Droupadi Murmu has condoled the death of former Odisha Assembly speaker and veteran BJD leader Surya Narayan Patro, who passed away at 74.
“Saddened to know about the demise of Shri Surya Narayan Patra, former Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly. A veteran politician, he had also served as minister in the state and earned people’s goodwill for his contribution towards the development of Odisha,’ President said.
