BHUBANESWAR: Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari on Friday chaired the Pre-Budget consultations with various sections of the society like experts and representatives of traders and industrialists and farmers and sought their views.
The first session was attended by former Finance Ministers, former Finance Secretaries, and senior Officers of the Reserve Bank of India and NABARD. Former Ministers like Prafulla Ghadai, Panchanan Kanungo, Sashi Bhushan Behera were among those present.
Similarly, in the second session, field experts, representatives of traders and industrialists, agricultural experts, labour union representatives, environmentalists, handicraft artisans and handloom weavers, columnists and NGO representatives participated and put forth their well thought out views.
‘ଆଜି ଅର୍ଥ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିରଞ୍ଜନ ପୁଜାରୀ ସମାଜର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବର୍ଗ ଯଥା ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଏବଂ କୃଷକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପ୍ରାକ୍ ବଜେଟ୍ ପରାମର୍ଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ୨ମ ଅଧିବେଶନରେ ପୂର୍ବତନ ଅର୍ଥ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଆରବିଆଇ ଏବଂ ନାବାର୍ଡ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଏବ ୨ୟ ଅଧିବେଶନରେ କୃଷି, ଶିଳ୍ପ, ପରିବେଶ ତଥା ଅନ୍ଯ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞମାନେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।, Government statement said.
