BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: BJP’s Aska MP Candidate Anit Subhadarshini on Thursday alleged that Police in Ganjam keeping mum over BJD’s violent activities.
While paying a visit to late Dilip Puhan’s family, a BJP worker in Khallijkote in Ganjam, who was murdered by the ruling party workers, the Saffron Party’s MP candidate, said, BJD workers killed Dilip Puhan while the police stood by silently.
She has met the family of Dilip Pahan who was brutally murdered by BJD workers and expressed condolences and demanded strict action against the culprits.
Meanwhile, in connection with the Khallikote violence as many as four police officers have been transferred, said latest reports in this regard.
As many as eight people have been arrested in connection to the violence.However, a man named Dilip Pahan belongs to BJP died late in the night. Another critical person has been shifted to Bhubaneswar.
