BHUBANESWAR: State Police Headquarters’ is in Cuttack while a dreaded criminal fleeing from SCB like World Class Medical College and Hospital in a mysterious manner and everywhere and there , there was no law and order, alleged BJP National Spokesperson, Dr Sambit Patra. Dr Patra was addressing a press meet here at the BJP State Headquarters’ along with Opposition Leader Pradipta Naik.
Who is the main conspirator behind such mysterious escape by criminal like Hyder ? Dr Patra asked adding alleged that Police is acting live BJD workers in Odisha. Dr Patra also alleged that history cheater Dhiren Samantray was frequently creating trouble in Pipili with help of local police and BJD leaders.
DGP Abhay, Additional DG (Law & Order) YK Jethwa and Intelligence Director RK Sharma visited Pipili and reviewed arrangements for the ensuing by-poll to be held on April 17. Besides, the district SP is keeping a close watch on activities of anti-socials in Delanga. Meanwhile, the Delang police on Monday arrested two persons in connection with the pre-poll violence erupted on Sunday.
In 2015, the Court of Additional District Judge-II in Bhubaneswar had handed imprisonment for life to Hyder and two others in connection with the kidnap and murder of mine owner Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra.Prior to that in 2011, Hyder and seven others were sentenced to life for killing Sheikh Chuna alias Malik Hanan, brother of gangster Sheikh Suleiman.
On 2 May 2017, Hyder was transferred to Sambalpur jail from Jharpada jail in Bhubaneswar due to security reasons following reports of gang war with Dhalasamanta BrothersEarlier, on Saturday, Gangster Hyder Ali has escaped from the SCB Medical College and Hospital here where he was admitted for treatment. According to police sources, Hyder escaped from Cabin No.V of the Department of Plastic Surgery of the SCB Medical College & Hospital where he was admitted for treatment after being shifted from VIMSAR, Burla nearly 12 days back.The gangster is believed to have drugged the Cops posted outside his cabin, the sources said. A team has been constituted comprising SPs of Kendrapara Sandeep Madkar, Jajpur CS Meena, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh and other senior officials to nab the dreaded criminal.
