OMC-OMECL Employees donates Rs 40 Lakhs to Odisha CMRF

BHUBANESWAR: The employees of Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd. (OMECL) have voluntarily donated their one day’s salary, amounting to Rs. 40 lakhs, to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support the State government’s efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy received the donation of the members of Mining, Minerals and Materials Society of India towards CMRF- Covid-19 today in Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar on Friday.

“Standing in solidarity with the government in fight against the #COVID19 pandemic, OMC & OMECL employees contributed a day’s salary amounting to Rs 40 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.#OdishaFightsCorona @CMO_Odisha @HFWOdisha @IPR_Odisha @InvestInOdisha @SM_Department,” OMC  twitted.
