BHUBANESWAR:Oil marketing companies have clarified that there is sufficient stock of petrol, diesel and LPG across Odisha. This clarification has been given in response to media reports that petrol and diesel are not available at some retail outlets or petrol pumps in the state. The oil supply situation in the state is normal and stable.
In order to restore normalcy as soon as possible, the Oil Marketing Companies have taken proactive steps by supplying petrol and diesel to the concerned retail outlets at a rapid pace. The inventory level is being actively monitored continuously. The retail outlets where oil shortage has been reported are being supplied on a priority basis to ensure immediate stock replenishment.
Wholesale consumers are advised to buy oil directly from oil marketing companies instead of retail outlets to meet their fuel needs, as petrol pumps are not authorised to sell petroleum products in bulk.
The company has clarified that adequate stock of petrol and diesel is being maintained at all Indian Oil supply points and retail outlets across Odisha.
Indian Oil has assured the public that there is no cause for concern. Customers are advised to refrain from panic buying of oil. Citizens are requested to rely only on Indian Oil’s authorized communication channels for accurate and authentic information regarding fuel availability.
