BHUBANESWAR: After the State Vigilance failed to produce a chargesheet against former Additional SP Trinath Mishra in a DA case, within a period of 60 days, a special Vigilance court in Cuttack has granted conditional bail to the tainted police officer.
Former Additional SP Trinath Mishra was arrested in February on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known source of income. During searches, the Vigilance officials found movable and immovable properties worth around Rs 9 crore from his possession. Odisha Government on February 21 had offered compulsory retirement to Mishra following Vigilance raids.
