Odisha Police Launches Special Drive to trace missing Children

CUTTACK: Odisha Police has launched a special drive to trace and rescue missing children in the state with effect from February 28. This Special drive will continue till  March 8. This is second of its kind during this year.

In the first four days of Special Drive, Odisha Police has rescued 160 children which include 138 girls and 22 boys. These children have been rescued in reference to specific cases registered in the Police Stations and have been restored to their respective parents/ guardians.

In this drive Bhadrak district has rescued maximum number of 26 children whereas Ganjam and Balasore districts have rescued 13 and 12 children respectively, Odisha DGP Office said.
