The Jindal Steel and Power Chairman Naveen Jindal on Thursday addressed the second day of Make in Odisha Conclave -2022 here at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.

BHUBANESWAR:  The Jindal Steel and Power Chairman Naveen Jindal on Thursday addressed the second day of Make in Odisha Conclave -2022 here at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.

Addressing the gathering, which was also attended by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal said, “I must congratulate Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for this big event,’.

Odisha is my second home but No-1 Karmabhoomi . “I must recollect the old story of my  father OP Jindal Ji and former CM Biju Patnaik ,” JSP Chairman said adding now their sons both Naveen( Read also CM Naveen Patnaik) , made it possible for establishing largest steel plant in the State at Angul.  ‘I have been spending most of my time in Odisha and our commitment for the State always remained as top most priority,’ he said. JSP Chairman also reiterated company’s commitment for a super speciality hospital in Angul.

“We at Jindal Steel are toiling day and night to make the Odisha and India of our dreams. Setting up a steel plant, while not an easy task, has now become a reality with the government’s support.” JSP Chairman said.

He also highlighted his emotional bonding with Odisha and company’s plan for the State in various sectors. JSP aims to expand the Angul steel plant’s capacity from 6 MTPA to 25.2 MTPA by 2030 ,which will be the largest Plant in the World in a single location as per present capacities.

Earlier, Odisha Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma has all his praise for Jindal Steel and Power Chairman Naveen Jindal for the single largest investment in the State and establishing largest steel plant at Angul in the State. Sharma said while addressing the Make in Odisha Conclave -2022, joint hosted by Odisha Government and FICCI,  here at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

‘I must thank to JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal for the single largest investment and as well as establishing largest steel plant,” Industry Secretary Sharma said.

JSW Chairman Sajjan Jindal, AMNS’s Laxmi Mittal, Tata Group’s TV Narendra , NALCO CMD, Sridhar Patra, L N Mittal, Executive Chairman, Arcelor Mittal, Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Resources Limited, and few others addressed at the Conclave. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik  also joined the session and was talking with Industry captains along with Industry , MSME and Energy Minister Pratap Deb. Chief Secretary SC Mohapatra and Principal Secretary Industries Hemant Sharma, 5T Secretary VK Pandian were among those present on this occasion.

The State Government expecting to receive intents worth more than Rs 6 lakh Crore during the meet.
