BHUBANESWAR:Addressing the Odisha Investors’ Meet Roadshow in Ahmedabad, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted Odisha’s vision for next-generation industrial growth under the Purvodaya framework, showcasing the State’s strengths in infrastructure, connectivity, policy support and investor facilitation.
Engaging with over 500 industry representatives, the Chief Minister emphasised Odisha’s readiness to drive India’s next phase of industrial expansion through integrated industrial ecosystems, port-led development and globally connected supply chains.
The roadshow featured focused sectoral discussions, including a Textile Round Table, along with 26 one-on-one meetings with industry leaders across diverse sectors.
With its strategic coastline, operational ports, skilled workforce, Odisha is steadily emerging as a preferred destination for sustainable industrial growth, innovation and investment.
CM visited Mundra Port and engaged with industry leaders, where he proposed a balanced two-coast strategy as a defining framework for India’s next phase of industrial development. India’s growth cannot remain one-sided; the next phase of industrial expansion must be powered by the east coast. While the western seaboard has demonstrated scale and global competitiveness, the eastern coast now stands at a critical inflection point, with Odisha well positioned to lead this transformation. The scale and integration at Mundra underscore the potential of port-led development in driving large-scale economic growth.
