BHUBANESWAR: In a very impressive move, Odisha’s people friendly Governor Ganeshi Lal on has pledged his support towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s CARES Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in the ongoing battle against COVID-19.The Odisha Governor announced his support on his Twitter handle.
“In response to the call given by Hon’ble PM in the wake of #COVID19Pandemic, Hon’ble Governor decided to contribute Re.13.2 lakh (30% of salary from Mar,2020 – Feb, 2021) to the #PMCaresFunds and donate Rs 21 lakh to #CMReliefFund from his Discretionary Grant.@PMOIndia,” he twitted.
Besides, the Governor has also appealed people to come forward and contribute towards PM’s Cares Funds and CM’s Relief Fund with open hands to fight the Coronavirus outbreak in India.
