Odisha Government withdraws 60-Hours Complete shutdown orders in 3 Districts

BHUBANESWAR: With Odisha’s COVID-19 positive cases reaching at 103 till Sunday afternoon, the State Goverment has lifted its 60-hours long complete shutdown order in three districts- Bhadrak, Jajpur and Balasore. Jajpur District Collector also announced about lifting the curfew-like norms through a post on Twitter.

Though the shutdown was lifted, lockdown norms will be followed here. Meanwhile, the administrative authorities are on their toes to monitor the coronavirus situation in the districts as these districts recorded a spike in Covid-19 positive cases recently.

According to available information, the Bhadrak district collector issued few regulations and norms that are directed to be followed by the shopkeepers in the district.“As the shut down is over at 10 AM, please do not rush to markets. Enough food supplies and vegetables are available. Take your time to go to markets so as to avoid overcrowding. Follow social distancing norms,”
