BHUBANESWAR:Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the death of an Odia tourist in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh. Addressing the media at Bhubaneswar airport after returning from Delhi today after attending Semicon 2026, the Chief Minister expressed grief over the incident and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.
The Chief Minister has also announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased. The Chief Minister also said that the officials of the Odisha government are in touch with the Madhya Pradesh authorities and all arrangements have been made to bring the bodies of the deceased tourists to their homes.
