Odia IPS Officer Satya Narain Sabat plays a Key Role in Security Arrangements in Ayodhya

    BHUBANESWAR/LUCKNOW: As Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow Range ADGP, the 1990 batch Odia IPS officer of UP cadre, Satya Narain Sabat, who hails from Odisha’s Koraput, is managing show at Ayodhya for the inauguration of Lord Sri Ram Temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day.

    “As IPS officer Sabat shared a very close bonding with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath , the Odia IPS officer has been given the baton of entore security arrangements in Ayodhya for the inauguration ceremony to be attended by Prime Minister Modi,” sources said. Sources said, ADGP Sabat has been camping at Ayodhya for past couple of days.

    Sabat had earlier performed well during last World Famous Kumbha Mela. Sources in Uttar Pradesh Police said, Sabat was a hardworking officer and earned a very good name in this largest State of the Country.

    A total of 40 Companies of (provincial armed constabulary) PAC have been deployed in Ayodhya, including the 20 existing companies.

    ADG law and order Prashant Kumar and ADG Lucknow zone Satya Narayan Sabat are leading the UP Police security arrangements in Ayodhya for the bhumi pujan for Ram Mandir. 2 DIG-level officers, including SSP Ayodhya, Deepak Kumar and 8 Superintendent of Police have been in the temple city to look after the security measures.
