BHUBANESWAR: With 15 days have been already been passed while no action has been taken against any single leader of ruling BJD for blatantly flouting COVID-19 guidelines on several occasions, which irked BJP Bhubaneswar MP and National Spokesperson, Aparajia Sarangi.
“Today is the 15th day- State Govt of Odisha has not taken any action against BJD Ministers & other partymen for blatant violation of COVID norms.21 pics & one video of violations were submitted .State Government has no moral authority now to preach the people of Odisha. Earlier BMC had sealed MP’s office and later withdrew its order within a week on October 17 after wide spread criticism. On October 10, the BMC had sealed the MP’s office after a video that showed the Parliamentarian celebrating her birthday violating COVID-19 guidelines went viral. BMC had announced to seal it for 15 days but with fresh decision taken, the order was withdrawn with immediate effect. BMC action had drawn flake from many with BJP and Congress alleged that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik adopting double yardstick in dealing with COVID-19 guidelines.
