BHUBANESWAR: People have sharply reacted to “Address to the Nation”, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and posted several arguments in social media.
They said next time if Prime Minister Narendra Modiji does an “Address to the Nation”, at least one of these should be said clearly, otherwise it’s a complete waste of time:
1) Uniform Civil Code(UCC) will be implemented across India.
2) Temple management will be freed from State control.
3) Government will amend the Places of Worship Act and open the door for reclaiming historical sites.
4) A roadmap to abolish Caste-based Reservations and shift to merit-based systems will be chalked out.
5) Introduction of strong legal protections for discrimination against General Category communities.
6) Clear reforms in judiciary and bureaucracy with accountability mechanisms.
7) A strict National law to penalize insults to Hindu Gods, culture and Hindu religious practices.
8) A concrete plan for safe and full rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits.
9) Official roadmap towards declaring India a Hindu Rashtra.
10) I am resigning from my Prime Ministerial position.
India don’t need speeches and optics. Just need timelines and action.Because if even one of these gets a clear “starting from next month”, that’s the REAL address to the nation.
