Naveen Patnaik-Dharmendra Pradhan-Naveen Jindal-Baijayant Panda Condoles Death of CRPF Jawans in Maoists attack in Chhattisgarh

BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former MP, Naveen Jindal and BJP National VP In Charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda on Sunday joined the Nation in paying homage to brave CRPF Jawans, who laid down their lived while fighting left wing insurgency in Chhattisgarh bordering Odisha.  

“Strongly condemn the cowardly attack by left-wing extremists on our jawans in #Sukma, Chhattisgarh. My deepest condolences to the families of the jawans who embraced martyrdom while fighting for the country. Wish speedy recovery to the injured,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted @Naveen_Odisha

“Salute our brave security personnel who laid down their lives in an operation against the maoists in Chattisgarh. Their commitment  and sacrifice for the country will not go in vain. My thoughts are with the families of our jawans. India will never bow down to forces of terror,”  Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted @dpradhanbjp.

“Deeply anguished by the news of #NaxalAttack in #Bijapur . My homage to our brave security personnel who attained Veergati, defending the nation; my heart goes out to their family and loved ones.. “Deeply sad & angry at our jawans’ murder in  #Chhattisgarh by Maoists. Some young ppl today are seduced by leftist ideology, unaware of the horrific violence they espouse, which has killed crores worldwide. Think about it the next time you hear someone say Lal Salaam.Om Shanti,” BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay.  Padmashri Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand image on Puri’s Blue Flag Golden Beach while paying tribute to martyrs CRPF Jawans.

At least 22 security personnel have been killed in the line of duty after an encounter on Saturday with Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, about 400 km from state capital Raipur. A member of the security group is still missing.
