BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated second #PlasmaBank at Capital Hospital, #Bhubaneswar. After encouraging results of #PlasmaTherapy in the initial phases, plasma banks will start functioning at IGH, Rourkela, VIMSAR, Burla & MKCG Medical, Berhampur to treat serious patients.
CM emphasised, it is a solemn commitment that no person will be deprived of advanced medical treatment in #Odisha. CM thanked Odisha Police Organisation, Odisha Fire Service and National Disaster Response Force, India personnel for voluntarily donating plasma & inspiring many others towards the noble deed. #OdishaFightsCorona
CM also launched a web portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in/ to facilitate plasma donation where recovered patients can register themselves & #DonatePlasma to save lives. CM hoped that plasma donation will soon be a community driven initiative with more and more people participating in it, added Odisha CMO.
