NALCO’s ‘Road of Hope’ brings Smile among local Tribal in Odisha’s Koraput

BHUBANESWAR: The NALCO Foundation, the CSR wing of the Mines Ministry , CPSE, Bhubaneswar headquarters Navaratna NALCO, has brought smile among tribal population of Pottangi block of Koraput by constructing a ‘Road of Hope’ for them.

Sources said, the project cost is around Rs 1.18 Crore . The construction of BT road from Malkarbandh to Purunapadar village of Maliput Panchayat of Koraput’s Pottangi block, completed in December 2021 and dedicated for locals.

“‘Road of Hope’ – A 2-km length road from Malkarbandh to Purunapadar village under Maliput, Pottangi was dedicated for public use. This road, built by @NalcoFoundation will create a lasting impact in lives of people residing near M&R Plant, Damanjodi@JoshiPralhad @MinesMinIndia,” NALCO tweeted @NALCO_India.
