BHUBANESWAR: Muralidhar Urmal, OAS, Tahasildar-cum-Sub-Registrar, Lathikata in Sundaragada, was arrested by Odisha Vigilance for carrying suspected ill-gotten cash of Rs. 5 Lakhs and sent to jail. Further, cash Rs.5.83 Lakhs unearthed during searches and seized.
During house searches other assets including a double storeyed building (3700 Sqft), 6 Plots, Gold 241 gms, Silver 635gms, Deposits Rs.66 Lakhs etc. unearthed so far. Investigation continues.
