BHUBANESWAR: After 3rd year B Tech Student Prakriti Ramsal, another KIIT Deemed University Student from Nepal allegedly committed suicide inside Hostel campus on Thursday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Parisha Shah from Birgunj, in Nepal, was studying in first year in KIIT University in eastern Indian State of Odisha’s Capital. Bhubaneswar, found hanging in the hostel room. University authorities tight-lipped, while a Kathamandu based Journalist, was informed about the incident from a family of another student.
A student of Nepal who is also studying at KIIT , informed her parents that another student committed suicide few months after Prakriti Ramsal., the Journalist, told .
Police have reached the KIIT Campus and investigating the issue. A video footage shared by a students, shows some University officials entering into the room, in which the Parisha Shah was seen hanging amid chaos and crying of her friends .
After the development , Founder BJD leader Dr Achyuta Samant nightmare has gone up with Police started investigation into the case.
