BHUBANESWAR:To commemorate the 25 years of service, dedication and nation-building journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in his public life, “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” will be organized across the country. This month-long campaign, which will run from September 17 to October 17, will involve various sections of the society and organize various welfare and service programs. To make this month-long campaign a success, a state-level workshop was held at the state office today.

The workshop, chaired by State President Shri Manmohan Samal, was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, State In-charge Shri Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, State General Secretary (Organization) Shri Manas Kumar Mohanty, Former State President Shri Sameer Mohanty, Hon’ble Minister Shri Ravi Narayan Naik, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Shri Sampada Charan Swain, State Officers, all District Presidents and In-charges, State and District Coordinators. The state-level committee formed to make this campaign a success is headed by Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra, while state general secretary Shri Seemanchal Khatei and senior leader Ms. Sukeshi Oram are co-coordinators. Similarly, the committee includes Nabarangpur MP Shri Balabhadra Majhi, MLA Erasis Acharya, Pratap Nayak, former MP Amar Patnaik and Yuva Morcha state president Shri Abhilash Panda, informed Hon’ble Minister Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra.

Giving information about the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, Dr. Mahapatra said that the main objective of this campaign is to further strengthen the spirit of “Seva is the Sankalp, Seva is the Dedication” in the minds of the people. Along with providing services to the poor, helpless, women, youth, farmers and the underprivileged, programs will be organized in various fields like cleanliness, health, environmental protection and social awareness. On the occasion of the birthday of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 17, in the evening, “Aashirbadar Deep” will be lit by going to each house and each lamp will be a symbol of gratitude for Shri Narendra Modi ji’s 25 years of public service and a symbol of the collective resolve for “Developed India 2047”.
Similarly, blood donation camps and other service activities will be organized in the state, district and block. From September 17 to October 7, various drawing, speech, elocution, etc. competitions will be organized in all schools across the state to spread awareness about the public service work done by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the vision of a developed India. The students who have achieved success in the competition will be awarded prizes and certificates will be given. Through the Namo Seva Gatha program, the story of the last 25 years of service work, major public welfare schemes and the changes brought about in the country will be taken from village to village through simple, emotional and musical drama performances and street plays.
This program will be organized in schools, colleges, panchayats, community centers and other public places across the state. On this occasion, Anganwadi Samman and Matru Bhasma programs will be celebrated in all Anganwadi centers of the state from September 25 to October 7, 2026, and children and mothers will be informed about the nutrition, health and women-related schemes of the Modi government in a very simple and conversational manner. The real stories of 2.5 million citizens whose lives and local areas have changed positively through various schemes of the Modi government will be presented to the countrymen through the Story of Change program.
Through the Developed India Sankalp Yatra program, local residents will present the story of India’s development based on their own experiences of the big, real and tangible changes in the last few years. In this, especially the influencers and digital creators of the state will be involved. Through the Seva Jyoti Yatra program, gratitude will be expressed for Modi ji’s 25 years of service and a collective resolution will be taken for Developed India 2047 and Developed Odisha 2036. This yatra will be organized in every district and village. The Jal, Jan and Seva Sankalp Yatra will be held from Badanagar to Varanasi through the program. The Seva – Moro Yogdaan Abhiyan program will run from 17th September to 17th October. Every citizen will contribute to social service. A list of 25 major service activities has been released and Dr. Mahapatra has suggested that participants will carry out service, development and beautification work in their homes, neighborhoods, villages, schools, workplaces or any public places.
Similarly, a ‘Seva Setu’ camp will be organized at the block level on the occasion of the Seva Setu Abhiyan program. Under the Rangoli Rashtra program, human rangolis will be organized at major public places in the state to showcase Modi ji’s major welfare schemes, national symbols and the dream of a developed India. Five major regional innovation challenges will be organized to bring together the youth of the country, students, startups, professionals, corporate innovators and grassroots solution developers. The Jansevak Mahakumbh program will be organized on 17 October 2026. Sarpanchs and other public representatives from across the country, from Panchayats to Parliament, will come together and collectively sing all the 6 stanzas of ‘Vande Mataram’. An estimated 1.25 lakh public representatives will participate in this program. Dr. Mahapatra said that everyone’s cooperation is sought to make the campaign a success with the spirit of “Sevaru Sankalp, Sankalpru Sashakta Bharat” (Resolution from Service, Strengthened India).
