MLA Akash Das Nayak visited various flood-affected panchayats of Korei constituency including Mulapal, Bandal, Makundapur, Gaurpur, Ranpur, Asanjhar and reviewed the flood situation

During this visit, MLA Das Nayak was accompanied by Tehsildar, BDO, police officers and other administrative staff. Detailed discussions were held with the concerned officials regarding the flood situation, expediting the relief work and ensuring that government assistance reaches every affected family at the earliest.

The administration has been directed to immediately provide dry food items and other essential relief items to the families who are still stranded. Special emphasis is being given to ensure that no flood-affected family is left out of assistance.

‘Relief and rescue operations will continue in coordination with the administration until the flood situation returns to normal. We stand firmly with every affected family in Kore constituency in this hour of distress and our efforts will continue unabated to provide them with all possible assistance’. ‘I hope that with the grace of God and everyone’s cooperation, the situation will soon improve and life will return to normal,’ MLA said.
