BHUBANESWAR: As many as 145 proposals having investment intent of Rs 5,49,764 Crore with 3,55,615 Employment opportunities have been received at the Make in Odisha-2022 conclave , which concluded here on Saturday.
Of the total Rs. 10 lakh 48 K 807 Crore received at MIO, Minerals, Metals and Metal Ancillary-Down Stream Sectors draws highest investment of Rs 5,49,764 Crore having 145 proposals, which will create 3,55,615 jobs.
A total Rs. 10 lakh 48 K 807 Crore invest proposals from 741 investors received, which will create 10,37,701 job.
The power and renewable & green energy sector in Odisha has received investment intents worth Rs 2,38,455 crore while the logistics & infrastructure sector got proposals worth Rs 1,19,197 crore. The investment intents in the logistic sector can create 1,89,039 employment opportunities in Odisha.
The agriculture and food processing sector has attracted investment proposals worth Rs 7,249 crore having the potential to create 1,44,655 jobs in the state.
The Chief Minister thanked the FICCI team for their support for the successful organization of the Make in Odisha Conclave-2022.
