BHUBANESWAR:The fifty years of public service and twenty-five years of uninterrupted governance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the founder of developed India, have brought about a transformation in the country. Inspired by his benevolent ideals, the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which is being celebrated, is not just a program, but a huge mass movement of human service and sacrifice, said the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
Today, on the occasion of the 76th birth anniversary of our country’s famous Prime Minister, Hon’ble Narendra Modi Ji, on behalf of four and a half crore Odisha people, while participating in the mega blood donation camp organized by the BJP Yuva Morcha at the IDCO Exhibition Grounds, Unit-3, Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Shri Majhi said that the experience of saving a life by donating blood shows our high human values. No matter how much science advances, there is no alternative to blood and it cannot be produced in any hospital. The government is determined to ensure that no life is lost prematurely due to lack of blood in the state.
To ensure blood safety in the state, the Atal Blood Donation Campaign has been launched with an outlay of Rs. 50.45 crore in the budget for the financial year 2026-27. Under this, blood donation banks are being set up in new medical colleges of the state and old blood banks are being modernized. The Chief Minister said that the sixth respect for Modi ji would be if the youth took some time out of their daily lives to engage in social service and also became dedicated to serving the nation.
State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal joined the occasion and said that today is a day of inspiration, enthusiasm and self-confidence for all of us. Service is the supreme religion of all of us. We will reach out to the people with this message. The program started today with a blood donation camp. Modiji’s 25-year journey from Chief Minister to Prime Minister is inspiring for everyone. Modiji has brought many changes in the country. The way the successful Prime Minister Modi, who works based on the mantra “Service is the supreme religion”, is serving the people with sincerity, is certainly a source of gratitude and will be written in golden letters. His service work during the global pandemic Corona will always be memorable.
The innumerable works that the successful Prime Minister has done for the nation and the country cannot be counted. Our dear Prime Minister Modi has been able to put a smile on the face of every person in the last row by serving the public, the welfare of the poor and serving the society with sincerity. It is the duty of all of us to ensure that no one dies due to lack of blood. After Corona, the need for blood has increased a lot, many people are suffering from treatment due to shortage of blood.
At such a time, the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, especially the workers of the Yuva Morcha, have started efforts to collect blood from the mandal level and fulfill this need. Whenever there is a need for blood, we have continued to make sincere efforts to fulfill the need through blood donation camps, which has brought self-satisfaction among us. When the responsibility that we have been given is done with sincerity. Saying that organizing such a mega blood donation camp on Modiji’s birthday is a happy day for all of us, State President Shri Samal Ashet has expressed his gratitude to all the workers, all the institutions and partners who participated in today’s blood donation camp.
Yuva Morcha State President Shri Abhilash Panda said that many greetings to the volunteers who have come to donate blood in the huge blood donation drive organized on the occasion of the birthday of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and to all the youth and students present here. After taking oath as the Prime Minister for the first time in May 2014, Hon’ble Modi addressed the youth in June. On this occasion, he addressed the youth and party workers and said that if there is one work that we want to take as a vow of life, it is the blood donation campaign. In addition, he has created a digital portal on behalf of the government in the name of \”Blood Bank\”. He appeals to all voluntary blood donors to register there.
Modiji has created a platform so that people do not have to run to the hospital for blood. No matter how much you count the work Modi has done for the country, it will be less. The BJP’s Youth Front has taken a resolution so that thalassemia patients do not face blood shortage. Giving information about the blood donation camp, Honorable Minister and State Coordinator of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra said that this mega blood donation camp organized by Yuva Morcha has set a new record. Today, in one day, one place, one camp and one organization, 8810 units of blood have been collected, which is a new world record.
