BHUBANESWAR:Today i.e. on 29.09.2026, Manoj Kumar Mohanty, Former RTO, Balangir (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of PC Act, 1988 *for possessing disproportionate assets (DA)*, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Special Court, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar and *sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.1 lakh*.
*Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Manoj Kumar Mohanty, Former RTO, Balangir (Retired) following his conviction*.
