BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Government on Friday initiated a major reshuffle among IPS officers. As per the Home Department Notification, the 1988 batch IPS officer, Dr Manoj Chhabra presently Special DGP , SAP, was transferred and posted as DG (Prisons), Director (Correctional Service.
1988 batch’s SK Upadhya present DG Prisons, Director, Correctional Services, has been transferred and posted as DG Fire , Service, Home Guards, and Director Civil Defence.
Sanjeeb Panda of 1994 batch, present, ADGP CID-CB , I/C OSPH&WC has been shifted and posted as Director Intellegnce and additional charge of OSPH&WC
1996 batch IPS officer Arun Bothra present Transport Commissioner shifted and posted as ADGP CID-CB with additional charge as Transport Commissioner.
Gajbhiye, presently Principal Urban Police and Traffic Institute, here, had first promoted to DIG Rank and then to IGP Rank but was serving at same place but with transfer and new posting, the IPS officer will now shift to Cuttack as IGP(Communications).
2003 batch Shefeen Ahamed present IGP Home Guards, shifted and posted at IGP HRPC. 2008 batch IPS officer Dr Umashankar Dash, DCP Bhubaneswar, shifted and posted as Additional CP Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
Niti Shekhar of 2007 batch , present Additional CP, BBSR-Cuttack, transferred and posted as DIG WR, Rourkela while Pinaki Mishra of 2011 batch , SP Berhampur transferred and posted as Cuttack DCP.
Parmer Smit Parsshottamdas of 2013 batch , present SP Nawarangpur, transferred and posted as SP Bargarh while 2014 batch IPS officer Prateek Singh, present DCP, Cuttack, shifted and posted as DCP-Bhubaneswar.
Rahul Jain of 2015 batch, at present SP Bargarh, shifted and posted as SP Jharsuguda while Dr Sarvana Vikek M of 2015 batch, present SP Kalahandi , shifted to Berhampur as SP.
Siddhartha Kataria of 2017 batch , present SP, Nayagarh , shifted to Khurda as SP. Ms S Susree of 2018 batch, present DCP Traffic Bhubaneswar, shifted and posted as Nawarangpur SP , Abhilas G of 2018 batch, present SP Narcotics, STF, shifted and posted as SP Kalahandi while OPS Alekha Pahi present SP Khurda, shifted and posted as SP Nayagarh.
