BHUBANESWAR:Today is the birth anniversary of the great poet Maharshi Balimaki. The great book Ramayana composed by Maharshi Balmiki is not just a subject, it is a unique synthesis of tradition and culture. It is a part of our entire lifestyle. When we are disappointed about any issue in the society, we remember the words of Ramayana. Ramayana is the source of inspiration for all of us, said State President Shri Manmohan Samal while celebrating the birth anniversary of the great poet Maharshi Balimaki at the state office.
In this program organized by the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Shri Samal said that Maharishi Valmiki had explained in detail how the Ram Rajya would come. Maharishi Valmiki has enriched our culture by mentioning the limits of renunciation, perseverance, hard work, and the duty of those who reform the society through the Ramayana. Today, people are becoming sad because they are not able to fulfill their hopes.
Maharishi Valmiki has taught that by abandoning negative thoughts and thinking positively, the feeling of despair can be removed. What he has given to the society will be recorded for ages. Shri Samal said that if we are inspired by his ideals and struggle, even the impossible can be possible.
Among others, MP Ravindra Narayan Behera, MLA Ravi Mallick, state spokesperson Dilip Mallick, Scheduled Caste Morcha national executive member Sushant Mallick, senior leaders Ranjan Patel and Purna Chandra Mallick were prominently present at the event.
