BHUBANESWAR:  BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday released the Party’s Election manifesto for Odisha Lok Sabha and Assembly polls. Patnaik also shared a vedio message addressing people of Odisha to vote for BJD.

Patnaik expressed his vision that Odisha will become the top state in the country by 2034, which is two years prior to the centenary celebration of Odisha’s formation.

In the manifesto of BJD, many announcements have been made to promote the welfare of all sections, especially the poor, farmers, women, youth, health and education.

A separate budget of one lakh crore will be kept for the youth of Odisha for 10 years. 2 lakh government jobs to be provided in next five years. 100 places will be focused on for eco-friendly tourism, it said.

Customers up to 100 units will get zero bill and discount for fifty units from 100 to 150 units. Loans up to 15 lakhs will be provided to women without interest. The introduction of BSKY Navin Card will cover almost all categories.

Scholarships for children’s education and support of 25,000 for marriage of dependent girls will continue.

A corpus of 1000 crores will be set aside as a Heritage Development Fund for preservation of heritage sites and languages, BJD said.

It may be noted here that Voting in Odisha for Lok Sabha and Assembly polls will held on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1.
