BHUBANESWAR: Under scanner actress Prakruti Mishra was on Tuesday interrogated for an hour by Kharvel Nagar Police of the Capital City in connection with an FIR filed by Trupti Satpathy, wife of another under scanner actor Babusan Mohanty alias Tanmaya Mohanty.
Trupti had filed the FIR against actress Prakruti Mishra alleging her illegal affairs with her actor husband, Babusan and blackmailing him. As per sources, Prakruti Mishra was questioned by a lady police official for nearly an hour in presence of her parents and family members.
Police had come to record the statements of actress Prakruti Mishra in presence of her parents. The actress has cooperated in our investigation, Kharavela Nagar Police said.
Prakrut’s father Manmath Mishra said, Police had come to our house to record the statement of my daughter about the occurrence of the incident.
Trupti had filed the case after Odia actress Prakruti Prakruti’s father Manmath Mishra filed an FIR at the Kharvel Nagar police station against Babushaan’s father-in-law Lalit Satpathy alleging that Lalit and Trupti are conspiring to kill his daughter.
Earlier Ollywood superstar Babushaan Mahanty’s wife Trupti had assaulted Prakruti Prakruti for her alleged affair with her husband.
