BHUBANESWAR:Kalinga Sena will make Odisha alcohol-free. No domestic or foreign liquor that is taking people’s lives will be allowed to be sold. For this, all kinds of help will be provided to those who are fighting for alcoholism with the formation of Kalinga Anti-Drug Committee at the Panchayat level. Kalinga Sena Supremo Hemant Rath made this announcement on the party’s foundation day today.
“Sri Rath said that Kalinga Sena is always working to protect the interests, pride and integrity of Odisha. However, widespread drug trafficking in the state is destroying the youth. Families are being destroyed due to addiction. Therefore, Odisha needs to be made alcohol-free as soon as possible. For this, Kalinga Sena will form Kalinga Anti-Drug Committees in every Panchayat and take up this task. “Similarly, the party will take many steps in the coming days to protect the integrity of Odisha. Other states will not be allowed to do what they do by entering the Odisha border and pursuing their interests. Kalinga Sena will start a special campaign to protect the motherland and language. The campaign will be started in every district before the upcoming Panchayat elections.
Highly educated people will be identified at the Panchayat level and given a chance to join them. “Kalinga Sena is always working for the future of Odisha, especially for the youth. The party has started working so that these youth can easily get loans from banks and become self-reliant and employ others. Pressure will be put on the banks to provide loans to the youth of Odisha in various self-reliant schemes, just as banks that collect huge deposits from Odisha will provide loans to the youth of Odisha in various self-reliant schemes. Similarly, corporate companies coming forward for investment in Odisha will be welcomed and given a chance to give first-time employment to Odisha youth in their companies. Companies that do not give priority employment to Odisha youth have no need in Odisha,” said Shri Rath.
“In the agriculture-dominated state of Odisha, just as farmers have recorded a global record in paddy production, the party will provide them with all kinds of support for the production of other cash crops. Especially, cooperation will be provided by discussing with the government on how they can easily get loans, improved varieties of seeds, post-harvest sales facilities and marketing system. “Shri Rath said that in the upcoming Panchayat elections, the party will field highly educated people from Odisha. The people of Odisha have tested the work of two national and one regional party. Now they are looking for a new party, Kalinga Sena can be a new option for them.
“Today, thousands of Kalinga soldiers from different districts of the state participated in the foundation day, and like every year, people who have excelled in various fields were honored and awarded. In this program, the party’s state vice-president Hemant Singh gave the welcome speech, while the cultural program was organized by secretary Monalisa Biswal. Bhadrak District President Gadadhar Behera expressed his gratitude and said that he had called upon the youth to come forward to strengthen the party organization. Among others, State Vice President Abdul Qayum Khan, Purna Chandra Sahu, Anant Mohanty, General Secretary Vijay Raj, Eng Manoj Nayak, Professor Ashok Nayak, Eng Swatish Ranjan Sahu, Organization Minister Sanjay Pradhan, Editor Ashok Sahu, Praful Parida, Madhu Sudan Sahu delivered their speeches.
