JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal Pays Last Respect to Martyr SI Deepak Bhardwaj

RAIPUR/BHUBANESWAR: The Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Monday paid his last respect to Martyr SI of District Reserve Guard of Chhattisgarh Police, Deepak Bhardwaj and lauded the courage and sacrifice of the slain police men. Deepak Bharadwaj was leading the joint party of forces that was trapped in the Maoist ambush at Bijapur district of the State bordering Odisha.

A worried Radhelal Bhardwaj, father of Deepak left home at Malkharaoda in Janjgir-Champa for Bijapur, consistently praying for Deepak’s safety all along his road journey.The old man travelled 600 km with the hope to find Deepak safe and had planned to accompany him back to Raipur. But destiny had something else in store for him. Deepak joined the police in 2013 at the age of 23 years. Deepak was among 22 security men killed in Saturday’s gun battle in Chhattisgarh.
