SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR: Suspension of internet services in Sambalpur town is expected to be withdrawn by Saturday evening as the situation gradually improving in this western town and the services will be resumed.
Restrictions were imposed since April 13 to restraint circulation of provocative messages and averts misapplication of social media.
The local administration had earlier resumed internet services in some areas of the district including in Naktideul, Jujumara, Bamra ,Jamankira Kuchinda and Rairakhol areas.
It may be noted here that Whatsapp, Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and other social media services of all mobile service provider had been shut down since April 13.
