ANGUL/BHUBANESWAR: Our main goal is to bring about positive changes in the lifestyle of the people by strengthening the trend of development in every village, said Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan while participating in other programs including the inauguration and ground-breaking of 41 development projects worth about Rs 172 crore at Chhendipada in Angul district on Saturday.
Shri Pradhan said that major projects like the stadium and new community center to be built for the progress of the Chendipada area have been launched. Along with this, 42 beneficiaries have been given the benefits of government schemes. Shri Pradhan informed that in the coming days, more than 25,000 houses will come to Angul district under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the double engine government is determined to reach the allowance to all eligible beneficiaries. A modern boating facility has been inaugurated at the Derjang Project with the aim of developing the tourism industry in the district. The Minister expressed hope that this will increase the import and employment of the local people. Similarly, the goal of ‘Developed India’ of the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ‘Developed Odisha’ of the Odisha Government will be achieved only when our Angul and Chendipada are developed, the Union Minister said.
Shri Pradhan has sought the cooperation of all teachers to make schools completely plastic-free with the aim of creating a clean environment for the coming generation. Finally, Shri Pradhan said that the government is continuously working to make Odisha a prosperous state by 2036 and solve problems like water, housing and employment.
After this program, Shri Pradhan inaugurated a new office of the party at Chendipada and welcomed new members to the party at the Mishra Parva. He said, this office is not just a building, but it is a new focal point of service, resolve and dedication of all our workers. In the coming days, it will become a major venue for solving the problems of the people of the region and for development discussions. The participation of new members at the Mishra Parva will make the organization stronger and more dynamic in the Chendipada area. Highlighting the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Minister said, “Today, India has created a special identity in the world court. The Prime Minister’s mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Mantukham’ has brought positive changes in the lives of crores of Indians. Our main goal is ‘Antyoday’.” He called upon the workers to take responsibility with determination so that the benefits of every government scheme reach the last row of the society.
It is worth noting that in the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of developmental works organized in Chhendipada, the foundation stone laying of 35 projects worth Rs. 162.91 crore and 6 projects worth Rs. 8.73 crore were inaugurated. Apart from this, during the visit of Angul, the new Panchayat House in Turang Gram Panchayat under Shri Pradhan Baanrapal, the newly constructed passenger rest house at Turang Turang Chack and the new office of the Balipatta Revenue Inspector in Chhendipada were inaugurated.
