BHUBANESWAR: In a historic ruling by the Revenue Board, approximately 62.72 acres of land in Tarol mouza under Tangi-Choudwar tehsil of Cuttack district has been successfully secured.
This brings to an end a legal dispute over this valuable government land that had been ongoing for a long 43 years.
The Revenue Board court has fully rejected the ownership claims of private individuals and directed that it be recorded as KM in the government ledger. While the Cuttack District Collector has taken possession of this land, which has a market value of more than 800 crores, it will be invested in various public welfare and developmental works in the coming days.
