TALCHER/KANIHA:Gurdeep Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NTPC Limited graced as Chief Guest during the meet on May 5, 2018. Addressing the Heads of O & M stressed on Knowledge sharing, develop young talent to take the future challenge, safety & environment management.
During the visit, Shri Singh inaugurated 4OO TR AC System based on Flue Gas Waste Heat recovery system. The system is an indigenous new technology for air conditioning required in the power station. The visit also included a visit to control room stage II & CW channel.
Earlier, Prakash Tiwari, Director (Operations) NTPC Limited inaugurated the meet on May 4, 2018. Addressing the gathering he emphasized on safety and insisted to develop the safety culture, competency, adopting new technology & development
The main objective was to discuss various facets of Operation and Management in O&M, Safety, environment, system orientation & development, sustainability issues were discussed & action plan has been developed for compliance all across NTPC. 60 Heads of Operation and Management from various NTPC Power stations participated in the meet.
On the occasion, C V Anand, ED(OS) N Srinivasan, ED(FT), M P Sinha, RED(ER II) Ram Kuber, ED(Talcher Kaniha) & senior officials of Talcher Kaniha & other power station were also present, added Amit Kumar Behera, Manager(PR).
