BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday, Abhay Kumar Behera, Block Education Officer , Ghatagaon, Keonjhar has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding & accepting bribe of Rs.15,000/- for release of arrear pay of a group of teachers.
He had demanded Rs. 60,000/- for release of arrear pay of a group of Asst. Teachers and was nabbed while taking the first instalment. In this connection, Balasore Vigilance PS Case No.25/22 U/s 7 PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress
