BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has hailed the Union Cabinet decision and said ‘Gaon’, ‘Gareeb’ and ‘Kisan’ is at the core of Prime Minister Narenra Modi Government’s Governance Model.

“Welfare of ‘Gaon’, ‘Gareeb’ and ‘Kisan’ is at the core of Modi Govt’s governance model. Welcome the decisions taken by Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi in the cabinet today. These decisions will have a far-reaching impact and pave the way for a stronger and inclusive Indian economy.Approval for modalities for the implementation of measures announced as a part of the AatmaNirbharBharat package for MSMEs— ₹50,000 crore equity infusion through Fund of Funds and ₹20,000 crore for distressed MSMEs will revive and further strengthen their growth potential,” twitted Union Minister Pradhan.

“MSMEs are the backbone of Indian economy and have a key role in the making of a self-reliant India. Widening the definition of MSMEs and revising the turnover limit for medium enterprises to ₹250 crore from ₹100 crore will further energise the sector and help them dream big.

Hike in MSP for 14 kharif crops by 50% – 83% over the cost of production and more time to repay loans for agricultural and allied activities will further provide relief to our farmers and will enable them to reap maximum benefits under the AatmaNirbharBharatAbhiyan,he said.

“Thank Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi for continuing to remain sensitive towards the problems faced by street vendors during the coronavirus pandemic. Working capital loan of ₹10,000 to street vendors will boost livelihoods and will benefit more than 50 lakh footpath sellers.

Bold decisions taken today will boost our MSMEs, ensure better prices for our farmers, have a positive impact on the livelihoods of the poor, stimulate economic growth and will help bring a transformative change in the lives of our citizens,” he added.
