BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s home district Ganjam in south and his trusted lieutenant Boby Das alias Pranab Prakash’s Jajpur in costal best were on Monday continued to topped the COVID-19 positive list with 2 ruling BJD stronghold districts bagging as many as 197 cases out of Odisha’s total cases of 391.
Patnaik’s Ganjam so far till Monday afternoon reported 137 cases including 1 death and 136 active while Jajpur with 60 including 58 active and 2 cured followed by Khurda with 50 including 16 active , 2 dead and 32 cured.
Odisha’s tally went off after fresh cases of 14 including 12 from Ganjam and 1 each from Kendrapara and Sundargarh, and all were Surat returnees, taking the total to 391 including 68 cured, 320 active and 3 dead.
