BARGARH: Celebration of Gangadhar’s birth anniversary was quite elaborate and meaningful. The “Matatrichhaya” organization organized unique programs for abandoned and orphaned families.
“Matatruchhaya” always organizes unique programs for the abandoned and orphaned families from different parts of the state who come to support the abandoned and orphans. On the occasion of the celebration of the birth anniversary of the holy poet Gangadhar Meher and the Rakshya Bandhan ceremony will be held to name the baby girl born in the shadow of the mother.
Mrs. Geeta Mishra, Mahila Samiti, Bargarh along with others inaugurated the festival by lighting the lamp and laying garland in honour of Poet Gangadhar Meher. Mr. Jakeshwar Pradhan, former head teacher and former head of retired teacher’s association, President of Attabira, Mrs. Nooravati Sahu, Maa, Matilagana Sahitya Sansad Malkangiri, Mr. Yatindra. Sahu, retired teacher, senior teacher, Mr. Girija Shankar Acharya, Advisor Shanti Tapoban Ashram, Mr. Ramakant Tripathi, former president Sanjukta Yuva Sangathan, Acharya Paripoonnanand, master of satirical poetry, Mr. Gaur Sa joined the protection bandan of the poet and poet Gangadhar Meher. Delivered lectures on various poems.
According to the calculations regarding the time, date and time of birth of the newly born child, in the Vedic chant of Pandit Subhasnu Tripathi, Shri Girija Shankar Acharya, in the consonance of Jakeshwar Pradhan and Acharya Paripūṇṇanda announced the name of the newly born child as Urmīla.
The guests from various places received the Matruchhaya inmates Simran, Purna Josshana, Sarojini with the help of Vedic scriptures.
In the said meeting, Mr. Surendra Meher, President of Sanjukta yuva sangathan, Bargarh presided, while Ms. Labang Sahu sang the opening song and the speaker, Ms. Manju, gave the vote of thanks.This festival was organized by Shri Debadatta Tripathi, Head of Ashram.
