BHUBANESWAR: Former Minister Debasis Nayak on Sunday joined BJP soon after tendering his resignation from primary membership of Naveen Patnaik led BJD.
Nayak joined BJP in presence of State president Manmohan Samal and former State President Samir Mohanty here at BJP State Headquarters’. Nayak, a 4 times former MLA from Bari in Jajpur, was suspended from BJD in 2011 and the suspension was revoked in 2012.
Former Congress MLA from Attabira constituency in Bargarh, Nihar Ranjan Mahananda, also joined the BJP.
