BHUBANESWAR:Even after the implementation of the New National Education Policy (NEP) in the country since 2020, the then BJD government did not implement it in Odisha. After our government came to power in 2024, the process of implementing NEP-2020 was started. This year, for the first time, new textbooks were introduced in the curriculum on the basis of NEP-2020. Errors were observed in the textbooks. Which caused a lot of trouble, starting from the common man to the Honorable Chief Minister and all of us.

There was a suspicion that there was a big conspiracy in the so-called errors in the textbooks and the Honorable Chief Minister formed a high-level investigation committee under the leadership of the Development Commission and ordered to find out the reason for the errors and deviations. Based on the report of the committee, four officers were suspended. As the smell of conspiracy to defame the state government grew stronger over time, the Hon’ble Chief Minister handed over the investigation of the incident to the Crime Branch to expose this huge conspiracy and take strong and tangible action against the conspirators.

The Crime Branch has taken the matter seriously and started the investigation. In the first phase of the investigation, the then Director of SCERT, Shri Manoj Padhi, was taken into custody and interrogated, after which he was arrested and sent to jail. Whoever the conspirator is, strong and tangible action will definitely be taken against all those involved in this incident. The heinous conspiracy to darken the future of the innocent students is very inexcusable. Shri Tripathi said that a thorough investigation will be carried out and the culprits will be found.

On the other hand, some conspirators have started trying to defame the state government. Some journalists who are defaming the entire journalism system by doing ‘supari journalism’ are part of this conspiracy. The conspiracy of the opposition party has been made clear in the video and audio clip that was released on social media yesterday. In order to suppress all these incidents, the editor of the so-called media outlet, Shri Sudhanshu Raut, directly alleged that the state’s Public Education Minister Shri Nityanand Gand was receiving five lakh rupees during a conversation through the Umerkot journalist of his channel. In the subsequent incident, the journalist from Umerkot came on Facebook Live and completely refuted the allegations of Sudhanshu Raut, calling them false and baseless. After listening to the conversation between Umarkot journalist and editor Sudhanshu Raut, it is clear that the editor Shri Raut has tarnished and condemned a sacred work like journalism. Shri Nityanand Gand, the elected public representative and Minister of Public Education from a remote area like Umarkot in Nabarangpur district, is a qualified, very simple and he represents the tribal community.
The conspiracy to kill the Minister of Public Education and the Minister of Industries of the state is clear from that audio. Although many established journalists have been in journalism for a long time in the state, no controversy or stain has touched them, on the other hand, their professional credibility has always been trusted by the people of Odisha. The political process is different, but there is no place in politics for such a sickly journalism like Shri Raut. After being rejected by the general public for a long time while in power in Odisha, the Biju Janata Dal has now descended to a very low level and is not even looking back to abuse the media.
Even the BJD’s giving supari to Shri Raut and some other journalists like him who have a soft mentality to tarnish the image of the elected public representatives and people with constitutional responsibilities like ministers and the government has created a shameful chapter in the political history of Odisha. An FIR has been lodged in the name of this supari journalist Shri Sudhanshu Rout , Editor Focus TV at the police station. Therefore, Shri Tripathi said that the public should be wary of such supari journalists.
State Vice President Shri Ramesh Chandra Sahu and State Media Coordinator Shri Sujit Kumar Das were prominently present on this occasion.
