BHUBANESWAR: The National VP of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry(FICCI) and Bhubaneswar headquarters’IMFA Group, MD Subhrakant Panda on Monday lauded the move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after both took COVID-19 Vaccine dose earlier in the day.
“Public personalities like the PM & CM taking the vaccine should be enough to convince everyone to do the same – it is not relevant which vaccine they took as all them afford protection against serious illness. Well done Sirs!,” FICCI National VP and IMFA Group MD Subhrakant Panda tweeted @subhrakantpanda.
Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also commended Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his pro-active stance towards the National COVID-19 vaccination drive.
Soon after the Chief Minister Patnaik took the 1st dose of vaccine that followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking the same earlier in the day, Union Minister Pradhan hoped that after both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Patnaik took dose of vaccine, it would inspire confidence among general public.

Meanwhile, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday took first dose of COVID19 vaccine.“Happy to share that I took my first dose of #COVID19 vaccine today. Grateful to our scientists, health workers for their race against time to deliver the vaccines to people. Appeal to all eligible people to come forward and get vaccinated for a #CovidFreeOdisha,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted@Naveen_Odisha.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday at AIIMS New Delhi.In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!”
