BHUBANESWAR: IPS officers posted in Odisha on Sunday found them in surprise after a fake ID created in the name of DIG ( Intelligence) Anup Kumar Sahoo , rocked social media forcing the 2006 batch senior Cop to issue a clarification.
“This fake account has been created using my name and pics. Pl Don’t accpet any friend request from this account. Thanks,” the DIG tweeted.
Sahoo, one of the most trusted IPS officers of CMO as well as Naveen Niwas, recently posted as DIG Intelligence after he was shifted as DCP of Bhubaneswar. Anup Sahoo’s IAS wife Rupa Sahoo too is working with Odisha CMO as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik with Member Secretary of Poverty and Human Development Monitoring Agency (PHDMA).
