Dharmendra Pradhan Thanks PM-FM for rebuilding Indian Economy

NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for rebuilding Indian economy in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Thank PM Shri Narendra Modi and FM Nirmala Sitharaman ji for the proactive measures in combating the challenges of #Covid19. Focused on land, labour, liquidity and law, the economic stimulus will help convert this crisis into an opportunity and propel India towards self-reliance,” Pradhan twitted.

“Better opportunities and well-being of everyone is at the core of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. Announcements made on Sunday by FM Nirmala Sitharaman ji will have far-reaching effects on people from every walk of life and further our efforts towards making AatmaNirbharApnaBharat,” the Union Minister Pradhan twitted.

The announcements made over the last 4-5 days will address issues faced by businesses, strengthen our MSMEs, empower our entrepreneurs and farmers, boost growth and employment, mitigate challenges, spur economic growth and create opportunities for AatmaNirbharApnaBharat, he said.

“Allocation of additional ₹40,000 crores under MGNREGS, reducing compliance burden, decriminalising Companies Act defaults and special insolvency framework announced today will insulate MSMEs, further enhance ease-of-doing business and boost employment. Increased investment in public health, investment in grassroots health institutions & infectious diseases’ hospital blocks in every district will help ramp up health infrastructure,further the vision of a healthier India and prepare us for future pandemics,”  he added.
