BHUBANEWAR: Every social theme of Odisha, starting from art, culture, tradition and patriotism, is unique. Bringing this uniqueness to the public through social media in the 21st century is the biggest challenge for the youth, said MP and former Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.

Launching the book ‘Back to Village’ written by young author Hrudananda Parshti in New Delhi on Saturday, Shri Pradhan said that these days, there is a gap between technological innovation, its disruptive impact and human capabilities. In the ongoing debate between artificial intelligence (AI) and human intelligence, human values will ultimately prevail. Today, AI has touched every field from physics to health, clinical research, but while its creators are a small group, its application is being applied to the entire society.

Shri Pradhan mentioned that in developed countries like America, about ninety percent of the people have personal computers, while very few people in India have computers. Despite such a huge gap, about 50% of the world’s digital transactions take place in India alone. This proves the extraordinary technological capability and adaptability of Indian society. The world of today’s youth is driven by smartphones and the internet. On the other hand, innovation is increasing through initiatives like ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ for children from kindergarten to seventh grade. To bring clarity to anything in society, one has to go to its roots or inertia. The biggest mantra in the 21st century is – “You have to be rooted and you have to be futuristic”. He stated that young author Hrudananda’s book ‘Back to Village’ is an inspiring message to connect the youth with their roots, village, Odia land and way of life. Shri Pradhan congratulated and congratulated the author, publisher and organizers for this.

He further said, “The Odia nation and our culture are never narrow, because our worship is the Lord of the world, Lord Jagannath.” Shri Pradhan challenged the youth of Odisha to introduce the beauty of almost every village of our Odisha, our traditional Arisha, Enduri, Manda, Chakuli, Podpitha, which the world sees today in the form of Momo or Pizza, and the people’s civilization to the whole world through short videos, reels and photos on social media.

He appealed to be aware of the health and nutrition of small children and pregnant mothers in rural areas. We have to extend our hands of cooperation for the healthcare and good education of the children of our village and motherland. It is our responsibility to educate and empower the students and teachers of village schools about AI prompts and latest technology. The youth of Odisha has the ability to lead the world and India for the next 50 years till 2047 and beyond. With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath and Maa Samaleswari, the youth of Odisha will increase the glory of Odisha in the whole world in education, science, literature and technology, said Shri Pradhan.
