BHUBANESWAR:On the auspicious occasion of the holy Mahashtami and Durga Puja, Sambalpur MP Shri Dharmendra Pradhan visited various puja pithas and puja mandap in Dhenkanal and Angul districts, had a divine darshan of Jagjjanani Maa Durga and sought blessings.
Shri Pradhan today had the privilege of visiting the famous Maa Banadurga Temple in Ambithi, Dhenkanal district and worshipping her in a devotional atmosphere. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pradhan said, “Jagajjanani Maa Durga is the symbol of the victory of truth and religion over injustice and negativity. Maa is the constant source of all strength, compassion, faith and trust. It is only through the grace of Maa that generosity and goodness are established in human society.”
Shri Pradhan visited the annual Durga Puja festival at Jarapada in Angul district, the mandap at Byinda, Debarapali in Athamallik and various puja mandap at Bamur. He said that the immense grace of Mother has created a new consciousness and positive atmosphere of peace, harmony and spirituality in the society. Shri Pradhan prayed to Mother for the welfare of the world.
